Visiting Policy
Visiting Hours are from 11:00am to 9:00pm, with additional accommodations made upon request. Children are permitted and encouraged to visit residents.

Parking
On-site parking is available, for reasonable rates, for visitors, guests, and patients.

Admissions Procedure
The admissions process begins with the Admissions Department receiving the Patient Review Instrument (PRI, an assessment performed by a medical professional, typically a nurse or doctor), along with the necessary medical, social, and financial documentation for review and approval.

The prospective patient and/or their representative will be interviewed by an admissions staff member, and provided a facility tour, and any other information requested.

Payment
The Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, most third party insurance, veterans administration benefits, and HMO’s, as well as private fees for service.

Resident Rooms
Rooms accommodate either one (private) or two (semi-private) residents. Telephone and cable TV services can be ordered through the resident’s social worker and are charged directly to the resident by outside providers.

Religious Services
The Center has an interfaith Pastoral Care Department, which serves the spiritual needs of residents. In addition to offering residents the opportunity to attend Mass six days a week, weekly Protestant services and Scripture study are offered. Our Rabbi celebrates Sabbath services bi-weekly and an Iman conducts Islamic prayer monthly. The Roman Catholic celebration of anointing of the sick is provided. Many religious holidays are observed with special celebrations. Chaplains and volunteers make regular visits to the residents. Prayer, counsel, a listening ear and heart are available to all residents and their families.

Cafeteria
The Cafeteria, located on the second floor of the Hospital Building is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Vending Machines
Snack foods, candy, ice cream and soda are available 24 hours a day from vending machines located in the cafeteria.

Beauty Parlor & Barber Services
These services are available regularly at posted charges. Appointments are arranged through the nursing staff.

Deliveries & Mail
Mail is delivered to resident’s rooms each day.

Newspapers
Newspaper deliveries are available to all residents 7 days a week. A resident’s social worker should be contacted for details.

Electrical Applicances
All electrical equipment brought into the Center must be approved by the facilities management staff before use, and must presented to the nursing staff upon admission.

Security
Security is in effect 24 hours day.

Smoking
Smoking is only permitted within special smoking rooms designated by the Center.
